• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2021 SX here is Syracuse NY! Loaded and love it!! Gravity Gray / Nightfall edition

How did I miss this?

Yes, I'm finally an owner of a KIA Telluride as of December 2nd, last week.

I'm enjoying every moment learning new things about the new ride.
Thanks to this forum, I've absorbed a bit of knowledge in the three and-a-half months waiting for my Telly to arrive.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed technical knowledge, personal experiences, photos, installation instructions, ideas and opinions to the discussions.

I've learned quite a bit from y'all.

SX-P/T in Carrollton, TX as of yesterday!

21 EX-P Wolf Gray already tinted brake lights thinking about debadging but not sure kind of like it how it looks for now. Less than 1 week owning it and have already had three people taking pics and wanting to see inside it lmao. Hopefully that wears off.

SX in Wolf Grey with Nightfall and Prestige package, tow bar, floor mats and cross bars. Started looking late November and was about to order one with a waiting time of 6-8 months, so revisited KIA of Carson for a third time, overcame my aversion of their business practises and bought it.

Debage it! So smooth and clean. 😁

We picked up our GWP EX Premium Package with a black interior on Tuesday evening and we could not be happier! On October 26th we placed a deposit on an incoming unit at Moritz Kia. I think I watched every video ever published about the Telluride after we put the deposit down haha. We were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our car after it showed up in failcat on December 12th.

Special thanks to @StephenCantrelle for tracking our car every few days. I wish we had been able to purchase from Stephen given the level of service he has provided to others on this forum, but we placed our deposit a matter of days before Stephen’s dealership started offering incoming units at MSRP. I have no doubt that we will go through Stephen when we purchase Kia vehicles in the future.

I will share some initial thoughts about our experience so far:

1. I was glad to see that our Telluride was shipped with the older version of the infotainment (the non-purple one). I am quite surprised about this since our car was built on December 11th and the purple infotainment update came out at the end of November, but I am not going to complain.

2. We are coming from a 2017 Toyota RAV4 and the refined nature of the Telluride is a nice change of pace. The acoustic glass and lack of a grainy four cylinder really adds to the serene driving experience. I think the Telluride’s suspension is tuned to be a little softer as well.

3. I know there has been much discussion on this forum about the just “adequate” power provided by the V6. However, we have been pleasantly surprised by the power offered. Again this is in contrast to our RAV4, which we all know isn’t exactly a speed demon.

4. The auto start stop takes a bit of getting used to as I have never had a daily driver with that feature. I plan on leaving it on for now but may turn it off in the summer as I have read the A/C will kick off if you are at a long stoplight. That is a non-starter here in Texas.

I haven’t encountered any issues yet but I am certainly still in the honeymoon phase. Glad to finally be an owner that can contribute here in the forum!

Picked up a fully loaded Black/Black 2021 Prestige SX with Nightfall package in Wilmington, DE almost three months ago (had to buy in MD in order to get it at MSRP). Have to give a "shout out" to Nationwide Kia of Baltimore for an overall great buying experience and being the only dealer within 75 miles or so of me selling at MSRP.

I have yet to see another Telluride like mine on the road.
