• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Your Telly in the garage - share pics!

I back into every space and spot including the garage. It is much easier to back in when you know others aren’t around you, then to back out and rely on rear cameras and cross traffic sensors. Just my opinion. Been doing this since I’ve been driving when they didn’t have cameras and alerts.
I've had to back into my garage since day one, back in the 1990s when I had my first Honda. So I'm used to it now. Though I have to be a lot more careful with this jewel - both size and preciousness!

Here’s my Telly in the garage.

Here’s my Telly in the garage.
Gorgeous Telly @Frankie Knuckles!

Why not get rid of the front plate and license plate mount?

Your Telly's face will look even better with the clean lines that Tom Kearns designed!

Maryland law enforcement have better things to do than pull you over for a fix-it ticket.

They usually only pull people over, from behind, for broken tail-lights or brake lights or things that actually affect safety.

Telly aesthetics matter!! :)

Them's fighting words, Justin! I HAVE to have front plates and my ride is GORGEOUS!

I also have personalized plates that I love and people enjoy - twice the fun, front and back!

@YAH DEF: your Telly's gorgeous Front-End is begging for a day in the sun, or snow, or overcast day. :ROFLMAO:

That's awesome that you have personalized plates. I'm going in that direction too, because the Tyrannical But Formerly Great State of California has issued me a set of horrible random number/letter combo plates that I just won't display.

I think that "3MO W8" would be way too much of an insider reference. I have some other ideas involving my Telly's amazing exterior color, or the dogs I'm soon getting. :)

I thought I would share my garaged Telly... partly because it ain't pretty! Lol. I have a small two-car garage. Basically just a box. I had to rearrange it to fit the new car. And it is TIGHT! And I back in to fit the other car so we can both open our doors. Yup, gotta turn the sensors off when I park. Anyway, enjoy the claustrophobia!

bring the mirrors in...might help

Honestly, It doesn't make much difference. I need to use them to actually park, and overall, they don't stick out much further than the widest part of the body. There aren't any issues near the mirrors - more with opening doors.

Yah, no-one will understand that one. But they might ask and you can have some interesting convos.

How many letters? How about BOSSMOSS?

Actually a 3 month wait wasn’t all that bad. And I like BOSSMOSS for your vanity tag.

You know it👍 Just don’t tell Dark Moss Justin that.
@Frankie Knuckles, I have no problem with Everlasting "Silver". Sure it's a darker blue gray than silver silver, but it's definitely a unique color AND I've given plenty of compliments to those who have the ES exterior and the Prestige Dune Brown Nappa interior. The contrast is amazing between ES on the body panels, Dune Brown leather contrasted with black polymer trim pieces in the interior. Great combo. :ROFLMAO:

That being said, ES was my original first choice based on the color I saw on Kia's website. I love silver and black. I'm an Oakland Raider fan. When I went to Kia Vacaville to look at an Everlasting "Silver" Telly, I believe it was a LX or S trim, it just didn't match the color I imagined after visiting the Kia's official site, which was a bit off-putting.

Dark Moss and Black Copper, like Everlasting Blue-Gray are also unique colors that deserve praise. They all have different personalities in the fog, at night, at low light, and under direct sunlight. I love that Kia offers these interesting colors that you just don't see everywhere.

My issue is, with the winds and sand and dirt that blasted my Telly today, I'm thinking about future availability of the special paints. Does Kia provide the exact mix of DM, BC, ES for body shops in case we need to ever re-paint, or for repairs? I'd love to store some extra Dark Moss paint somewhere, tucked away, in case the insane Santa Ana winds or whatever crazy wind event like the one today in Ventura County happens with greater frequency.

@Frankie Knuckles: Unfortunately, the tyrannical, wasteful and corrupt CA government only allows the taxpayers that pay their salaries to have 7 characters max on our plates. Some plates are limited to 6. Otherwise, great suggestion! :)

@DarkMossJustin you just need the paint code used by Kia.....is that listed anywhere on the vehicle? I know GM placed a sticker in the glovebox that listed all the codes used to build the car to include the paint code

@qwikhit That simple huh? Good to know. Thank you! :)

Yep once the dealer/body shop has the paint code; they can find the right colors and quantities and then mix it.
