• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What have you done / plan to do to your Telly?

Oh yeah, boy!! No label, muy bueno chrome.

I'm having the same issue. I cannot find a suitable all weather cargo mat for the rear. I have searched high heavens looking at the pitiful options. Only thing that meets my standards is the one offered in Canada. I hear you can buy it online, just have to pay a fortune for shipping. I might break down and do this. Otherwise, I will still be using my old trusted cheap tarp that actually works really really well. My wife hates it because it is cheap looking but the darn thing is highly functional and works better than anything else out there. I just hauled a bunch of lillies I dug up to my father-in-law. I was able to fold up the edges so nothing spilled out or over the edges. Then when I was done, I pulled it out, shook it, and just folded it back up. Tell me something that would work better than this?
I just ordered the Canadian trunk liner. $297 all in, but it’s the only one that fully met the criteria. I think it will add something special to the look of the vehicle.

I really like mine! Just wish I could have gotten it a bit less $ from a US dealer

I am thinking about Caliper covers when I do wheel spacers. Was wondering about color and leaning towards black for NF theme. Please post pics when done.
The painting of tips was easy, no need to take them down just tape off. I painted all thecwzy back so no silver showing on pipes or muffler.
How are the painted exhaust tips holding up?

I was wanting to know this myself. What type of prep work did people do?
I did a light sanding to give the surface a little scuff and roughness, then used a high heat primer followed by a few coats of high heat gloss black. I have had mine done for about 6 months and it still looks great

Ahhhh - Another one off the list! Now, I am ready for Summer!
Xpel Prime - XR Plus on the doors, back glass and roof glass. 35% on the fronts (legal ;)), 20% elsewhere.
Went with Xpel Prime - XR at 70% for the windshield to just hold back the UV and heat. Basically clear.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I'm looking to get the exact same Xpel tint configuration for mine and these photos make me sure about going with 35% fronts. With the 20% in the back over the privacy glass, looks like that makes it pretty close to 0%? Still on the fence about doing 70% on the windshield.. I live in Seattle so not much sun to battle

No problem. Went back and forth for awhile on what I might do. A lot of reading. I didn't want anything on the front that might jeopardize the safety or legal aspects, so I strictly went with the UV and heat deflection on the windshield. Didn't want to worry about the mysterious AS1 line or masking any sensors. They offered the 70% or a slightly shaded 50%, but I played it safe with the 70%. I also pondered the 5% Limo shading on the back areas, but couldn't really find any justification for it. It is plenty dark enough with the 20%. Also, I chose to only use the same minor shading on the sun/moon roof glass. Full heat and UV protection, but didn't want to risk any loss of visuals, while looking up at the starts or storms, while sleeping in the back on camping trips. 🌟⚡🌩️

Has anyone ever used Zurich Shield Premier as a Dealer “installed” PPF? Just stopped in to check on my order and asked what they use and was told they just switched over to this company. For $1,100.00 is it worth it or is there a better company or process around Richmond, Virginia?
Thanks in advance, I found out that I’m the first order for a 2022 quite possibly tomorrow it may be ordered.

Do you have a link for the Kia emblem overlay?

EDIT: I just clicked on your links and see you bought the film. Who did you use for the work?
I’m guessing you live in Arizona and are worried about the heat. Me too! Can you tell me what exactly you asked for for the front 2 windows to get them to match the backs? Or did you tint the backs as well? Also from what you said I’m guessing you didn’t tint the windshield they just put a heat and UV coating on it? We got Glacier White Pearl also!

Good evening!
I am in Tucson. The Company I used was Tucson Tint Company. (Bet you didn't see that coming!) They did a great job. I was even extra impressed as they were basically done and critiqued themselves into redoing the sun/moon roof glass. So far, things are holding up well, but really haven't driven too much this week - so the road test part will hopefully happen this weekend.
The layout of the products went like this -
All XR plus Ceramic except the windshield. That was the XR Ceramic, not the Plus.

  • Front Doors 35% (AZ Limit)
  • Back Doors 20% - Didn't want Limo 5%
  • Back Glass 20%
  • Sunroof/Moonroof 35% - Wanted to be able to see overhead at night while camping. Stars, storms, etc
  • Windshield - Also strict for AZ Limit - Chose the XR ceramic in 70% as you can barely tell it is visibly tinted, but can really feel the blocking ability of the heat.
If you are local and/or need any contact info, let me know!
Good luck in your research and decision making!
