• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Somehow the other day, my kid got carplay to take over the whole display. I hit the home key and it went back to the 2/3 display with widget on right. However, when I touch the collapse arrow to make it go full screen again, it just moves the widget and then displays an empty area. How domyou get carplay on the whole screen?

Setup > device connections > CarPlay. Uncheck use split screen.

Make sure your phone is unplugged before you do this.

Does anyone have a problem using the car radio while using the CarPlay? Every time I hit the radio button the CarPlay goes off. Then when I’m on radio and go back over to CarPlay the radio goes off.

Yes. Hitting th radio button assumes you want it displayed. Then when you switch to carplay, it thinks you want to listen to your phone. Only way I’ve seen to stop it is to force close any app on your phone that plays audio (like audible, music, Spotify)
