• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Seems like a good place for this question. I live in FL. The sun eats everything. Like everything. Anyone have a recommendation on a windsheild sunshade? Top priorities are foldability / stow away (otherwise my wife will never use it), and 0 opacity (100% UV blocking). Maybe sounds like a silly question but when you use a sunshade like we have to down here, the details matter.

I got this one with the storage bag. https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/uvs100-premier-series-custom-sunscreen.UVP

You beat me to it ,
I would also recommend if your windows are not by now to get them tinted with ceramic window tint that is authentic do your research on the manufacturer and installer .
I've had carbon window tinting put on this put on before and you can definitely tell the difference between that and authentic is Santa Claus good quality ceramic window tent
Put clear ceramic tent on your windshield too as well as on both moon roofs if you have them.
This will help a lot along with this sunshade.

Been using this one I bought at Target. A little bit wider than the Telly windshield by about 2-3 inches, but for $10 it’s perfectly adequate.

Wow, thanks so much. I can tell you put some work in and I appreciated you letting me benefit from that! I would totally buy and drink a case of beer with you to hear about your “slightly modified” Subaru.

For those of you who have the big silver ones, where do you store them in your car? My Telly is the family hauler so 5 seats are regularly occupied.

What ones are you referring to ?

Either the weather tech or the covercraft…

These ones that fold down to a small circle are not quality but make a compelling argument for convenience which is #1 priority so my wife will actually use the damn thing. Sorry to drag you all into the minutia of marital bliss 😂

I bought mine from Costco it is a collapsing one in the circles the circles I don't need heavy duty since my windows are tinted completely around now.
I do agree the convenience is much easier I just collapse mine into the circle and slide it between the passenger seat and the center console .

Good idea. I myself have the WeatherTech and it works great, perfect fit and coverage, rolls up and stores easily in an optional WT black bag.

Yes, but where do you put the black bag? Passenger seat? Trunk?

@Bohen I thought you +1 on the covercraft which looked like one of the more rigid silver ones. I agree the combo of a good tint job plus a foldy circle thing window shade is a good combo that will make me feel like the interior is being protected and be convenient enough for my wife to use.

I thought I was gonna get laughed at for this post but y’all have been super helpful. Thanks!

Second row floor. It's not bulky so if you have passengers, it can pretty much go in the back or anywhere where you have a little bit of space.

Guess I should have read this before I posted it lol...

I leave mine between the second row captains chairs.

Sorry for the sideways picture. Not sure why the forum upload rotates it.

I’m impressed by any man who appears to be a dog person (from your handle) and also has white interior. That is a new level of bravery.
