In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... i25/Fowler Delivery - Shipping company woes

LOL. He did mentioned he moved the vehicle on his truck so maybe then? Not exactly sure. Wasn't that big of deal just a little disappointing. You're expecting to see your brand new car, and the first thing i noticed was the trash on the floor.

That does sound disappointing, but did you say you had SCRATCHES on your car? That would be unacceptable. One thing I noticed is that when they detailed my car, they left swirlies on the black gloss trim around the doors. Unhappy about that.

I would not call them major scratches but I def saw one or two across the black gloss trim which is noticeable to me but any other person wouldn't probably notice. Nothing that chipped the paint off or like a key scratch.

I got the car detailed immediately too see if there were any significant scratches but I didnt see any. I would also agree the swirlies on the black trim is not fun to look at lol. I do touchless car washes, just high pressure water :)

Update: So far my experience with Montway has been so so. Initial customer service was great, and they assigned a dispatch company and trucker pretty quickly (so quick in fact that I pushed it out a week since I was gonna be out of town). Pick up was suppose to be Weds, 6/15 and delivery to me by Friday, 6/17. I was super impressed with that.

Pickup didn't happy until the next day Thurs, 6/16. No big deal for me as I assume I would get it today, Saturday, 6/18. With the Kia app, I was able to track the location of the vehicle and it was making good progress from CO to CA. Last night, it arrived in Sacramento, CA which is only 85 miles away from me. Looked like the driver stopped for the night. Being so close, I was excited and very confident I would be seeing the car today. Unfortunately, the car location has not moved since last night. I reached out to the dispatch company and driver all morning with no answer. The driver finally calls me back and says he can't deliver it until Monday. I couldn't understand his explanation - something about his logbook. The dispatch company finally texted back saying the same about the driver running out of time in his logbook, and requiring a 24 hour restart. I'm assuming this is related to driver laws regarding # of hours they can drive per week?

Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I made plans to receive the car and have to work Monday so need to figure out how to receive the car then. This logbook issue seems like something that should have been planned and accounted for? The 2 day estimate clearly was off. The thing is I don't even know if I can blame Montway since they are just using other companies to actually deliver. I can't be upset at the driver since he's working hard and can't legally drive anymore. I guess it's the dispatch company I can be upset at. Frustrating.

HAPPY UPDATE: My car was indeed delivered this morning. The driver was great and I tipped him accordingly. All in all, it took 4 days from pickup to delivery so can't really complain about that. The car was loaded up top as I requested (and paid extra for). I think it was the right choice as the car was pretty clean despite the 1200 mile journey. Only the side mirrors had dead bugs. I would recommend Montway although you're really dealing with whatever dispatch/trucking company they end up using for your particular car/route.

I've only driven it 20 miles and haven't played with many of the options but I absolutely LOVE how it looks. The Nightfall contrast on white looks great IMO. I had the 3D Maxpider mats ready and put them in immediately.
