When people talk tint they are talking about the windows that don't have tint. G! you have to know something about the car you are buying.

is it bad to reference failcat when talking to your dealer? i see a vin on failcat of exactly what i ordered, unfortunately plus rear seat entertainment. i want to ask about it but am not sure if there is a reason to not do so.

I saw one that matched mine on Failcat and played dumb. I just asked my sales person if my sticker had been generated yet. Have they told you that your order has been picked up? If they haven’t, you can just check in on that first.

My understanding is the driver and front seat passenger windows never come with tint because it depends on the state you live in to determine how dark you can go. Some even get the other windows re-tinted darker after they get their vehicle.

exactly right, I held a PA state vehicle inspection license.....the police have meters to check the percentage of tint

I hope you get it when they told you. I think there were some additional 23's allocated in early October. I'm in the same time frame as you are. I am an excited old man. LOL.

We added the sunroof option to our '23 Telluride S model order. The attached picture isn't from our window sticker, but I've noticed that any stickers (from failcat) that have the sunroof option added also say "LED Interior Lighting". Any info/insight to what that is? View attachment 28032

Yes...we ordered from Hendricks in Dec 2021 and now they are telling us at least Dec 2022 with 50 orders still ahead of us

Thanks!...sort of. LOL. I do appreciate getting specific Hendricks replies since that should be a pretty good indicator of my actual position in line. And it's not as good as I'd hoped. Hendricks definitely places a lot of Telluride orders. Probably due to relatively small markup (for me they added on about $1300 in useless add-ons).

Does anyone think some delay might be issues related to the conversion to the 2023 model line? I had read that KIA was planning to ramp up Telluride production by ?15%? Might things start moving faster as the 2023's start rolling off the line? Or am I just wishing...

Thanks. I ended up talking to them and one was allocated to them that was very close to my order, but was not explicitly my order.

Is there a reason why certain regions have more allocations than others? On failcat I see more x sxp in Florida region than the pacific northwest. I mean there are markups in pacific region as well, so not sure how allocation is done.

There was just a hurricane here and people need cars… makes sense to me.

partly true I think..I see people who ordered in June (before the hurricane) are receiving the 23 or have already received it. Hence was wondering

I wondered the same thing as I have a 2023 that should show up at the end of the month. I find it very hard to believe that Kia dealers don’t know about Failcat. Why would they dislike anyone trying to gather information about their 50K purchase ?
I texted my salesman the VIN and asked if that was my vehicle. No mention of Failcat. He must know that I discovered the VIN somewhere.

It says standard on TWJ because it is a component of the tow package (TWJ). TWJ is something that can be added to the regular EX and SX or SX-P models.

X-Line and X-Pro do not have the towing package. They just have the self-leveling suspension and then the tow mode that nothing else gets. The only missing component is the tow hitch and harness. Which is optional on the X-Line and X-Pro if you go all the way across that row.

I am very disappointed as the aftermarket models seem to be lower than the OEM to go under the bumper. Can anyone confirm that the 2022 OEM hitch will fit the 2023 models?

Just curious if you changed a 2022 order to the 2023 x-line, or bought new off lot? My salesman told me if I tried to change my order from SX to SX x line I’d have to get back in line.

Also I originally had ordered the tow package. He says I’m getting a hitch but not self-leveling, Which I thought was part of the tow package in 2022. I’m wondering if the new non-Exline towing comes with just a hitch.

I was told they would add the option to add a hitch to 23s at the end of this month/start of next. Not sure how accurate that is. I was told by another dealer there is a shortage of wire harnesses for the hitch.

Lately, it seems like these dealers are just guessing because they aren't being communicated to by Kia corporate. It has to be frustrating for the dealers.

Does anybody have good ideas for SX X-Line front lower bumper? My preferred color is Gravity Gray, I really liked the SX look on ‘22, but the Silver lower frame on ‘23 kinda kills the look. Heard some suggestions about vinyl wrapping or perhaps straight up paint over as another option.
