Showing in dealer stock... check with dealer as may have arrived this morning

Dealer sent me a text this morning saying it still hadn’t landed and wanted to reschedule the paperwork for next week.

Wouldn’t a dealer stock designation indicate it was there? Worried it got damaged in transit or something and not being communicated.

It is very rare for car to show in stock and not be at the store. I have only seen this a few times over the last 4 years that I have been paying attention. Usually occurs when Telluride drops at the wrong dealer by truck driver. If that happens dealer has to track down where car is at and set up transport or go themselves to get the car.

Could also be possible the salesperson is busy this weekend and wants to set up pickup for next week.

I always specify in response if car is in transit. If I do not, then it is still at factory.

Not yet in transit. ETA showing 05-25 as of today. Just waiting to go In Transit at the moment. Time to dealer varies if going via rail or just truck and location/distance from plant.

I've signed a purchase argreement for new Telluride originally due to arrive on May 17th, but it keeps getting delayed. I was mostrecently told it is due to arrive on 5/30. Can you please look it up and see what is going on with it?
