• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So my cable sits properly, but the button doesn't work when the seat is upright. If I manually move the chair/fold it, the button works. I press it and I hear the electric motor moving and the red release tab goes in and out. I put the chair back upright and it stops working. Puzzled by this one...

A little follow up on my investigations...rear button in the trunk (behind 3rd row) works fine. Noticed today that our Captain's chair has two buttons to control the easy entry. The one on top is the one that doesn't work. The one by the lever works just fine. So in our case it's not the motor or the rails or whatever other issues people are having. It seems to be the button. I may try to disassemble the chair, but will have to try it when the weather is a little warmer and I have more time. The fix could be as easy as reconnecting the wire that goes to the button on top of the chair or replacing this switch. It appears to be part # 89346-S9000WK.

Mine does the same thing! I have no idea what’s wrong with it and my kids can’t even get out of the car without me walking around to push it up now. Did you ever fix this issue or did they replace it for you?
