• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What’s the price? Looks like you have to register to get price. What multimedia features are being added?

Self download and update?

Why there are two different websites? Both look like 'official' to me...

The new map update site is mapnsoft.com

They just released a new update that along with map data adds some great features. Very cheap for the usb drive too.
Thanks for sharing. Help us understand, what are the "great" features you referenced?

The mapnsoft site lets you order a USB copy of the map and UVO updates, currently showing as $25

The other site, Official Kia Motors Navigation Update Website will offer a download option, but due to size they offer the USB as a convenience option.
Attached is the new features, seems like a slight overhaul in UI and some added benefits. spoiler, finally getting split screen in Android Auto.

Think this is awesome since it seems before only updates through the service department was possible, while everyone else offered downloads like Subaru, Ford, although Land Rover charged around $200 for a usb only option on some models. The Asterisk probably due to updates being offered only free for x years of ownership, Subaru's Starlink is 3 years, also probably disclaimer that data charges could apply based on your ISP provider and data plan/service.

Curious if its a generic USB or they actually put effort to put some KIA branding on it, always kinda found it funny at my job when we provide data to clients we use generic retail usb storage drives and charge a hilarious markup.

I ordered and installed today. It came from California and it was on a Kingston USB Flash drive. Took about 25 minutes and the longest part was installing the maps. Was $25.00 and $10.00 to ship. I had version 12.00 before now which is 14.

Guess I'll wait for the download option, was wondering if the USB would be collector's item. Not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon.

So do you have to pay 25 bucks if you wanna do the download option on the 15th of May?

Don’t forget the $10 for shipping.
