• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2021 Official Training Material

hey Stephen-
do you happen to know if Kia is honoring 2020 pricing for those people who got switched from 20MY to 21MY? Is that up to dealer? I’ve seen comments on both sides And I’m curious! We haven’t heard from the dealer yet but have a feeling we will be changed since we went in on March allocations as first but have no updates. I also saw someone with the same model as ours say they got pushed to a 21. The lookup tool has only had 2 cars with our trim level, interior/exterior choices since production restarted And they were going To different states
Up to the dealer from my understanding.

For what it’s worth guys, just posted on another thread here, but KMMG has suspended operations for at least this week.

Yup saw it...

Big Shout out to @yonkster11 to bringing this update to our attention.

Here is the lastest and greatest from Kia on the 2021’s!

Thanks as always!
And Here We Go!!View attachment 7501

No problem. Happened to see it from my dealer late on Friday night and happy to let you experts take it from here. Let's hope I can get mine before September when my Range Rover lease runs ends!

@StephenCantrelle Quick question regarding which 20s are being asked to switch to 21s. I placed a deposit on a SX-P/T that the dealer had on their incoming list. This was back in early March. Last ETA update I heard was late May, but obviously that's blown out of the water. My dealer isn't great at communication so I emailed to ask but I'm awaiting a response still. Do you know if non-orders like mine are being asked to switch to 21s? Thanks for any info you have. :)

No Pricing released yet but when it does I will edit this comment to have pricing.

So main changes are Blackout Package on EX AWD Premium and SX AWD Prestige.

Remote Start on all Trims Standard!

LED Headlights on EX Premium with Auto High Beam Assist.

Wolf Gray is addition to the color Family! ** WOLF GRAY is only available on Black Out Packages
Sangria available on SX model!
Glacier White replacing Snow White Pearl.
Black Copper now available on S and EX models as well as SX.
Black Copper now available with Gray Interior (before just Black)
Tow Package to 7 Pin design instead of 4 Pin
Improved Cabin Heater on AWD models

Hope this helps as we transition to 2021’s...
You got the update here first!
Thanks for the exciting news!!!! Maybe the wait is worth it since my biggest gripe was the Remote Start, or lack thereof. I like the fact that they fixed the tow pin too. Thanks for keeping members updated and informed.

You need to get ahold of your dealer. Only certain 20’s are being converted to 2021 that already have ETA’s.

You unfortunately do not want to be on that list if you are not the original person ordering the Telluride.

Reason why is Kia told us to contact the people who are effected and ask if they want to change over to 2021 or cancel. If they crossover than all is good if they cancel then dealer needs to tell Kia.

Kia will give dealer a Telluride even if original owner backs out so they don’t loose what was “earned” (Incoming Telluride count) but it will not or may not match order the exact same way..

If dealer gets cute and tells Kia original owner is good but delivers(sells) the car to a different owner than Kia will penalize dealer.

Penalize usually means less Tellurides in the future.

this is to ensure those people who have ordered 20’s and we’re given an ETA and are switching to a 2021 get priority and are built before anyone else 2021.

In conclusion I have this exact situation happening with a forum member. He is opting to see what gets assigned and has first dibs since exact color combo may change. If replacement 2021 is not what he desires than he will be entered in first wave of 2021 KFOS orders since he has been waiting and had an ETA on a incoming Telluride and due to the circumstances changed things up.

* this is how I am handling this.. keep in mind other dealer may be different.. so in reality you want to avoid that drama and hopefully have the 2020 still coming and not crossing over to a 2021

Thanks for the details, Stephen. I am desperately trying to get ahold of them. As far as I know, this was not an order from someone else, but one of the ones that were allocated to them. I could be off on that, though.

Sorry if this was asked already, I’ve been trying to keep up.. But it looks like the Black Edition is getting its own rims?? Correct? Can’t wait to see it.. Definitely interested in this one!

Not sure I believe this. If a dealership is telling you this...they are trying to pull one over on you. I can't imagine KIA (or any manufacturer) would release information on a new model to only select dealerships.

Luther Kia in Bloomington MN is who is telling me this...

It’s available... they just don’t know where to look it up 😉... it’s not in plain sight

What are people thinking of the new price bump for the 2021s. I'm hoping only $700 or less per trim and not much for the new colors/ accessories.

Could you explain this please. They seem straightforward on their pricing.

Well - for one they don't know how to access available dealer training material...probably one of those dealerships where the salesman don't know much about what they are selling. I hate it when I go to a dealership and the salesman only wants to talk about what payment I want - but has to go ask someone else when you ask a specific question about a car. SMH
