So the Telluride is my first car with Android Auto capabilities and I've figured most features out, however, when I connect the phone and switch over to AA, the radio turns off. Is this normal or am I missing a setting or something in the setup? Sometimes its just easier to open AA and use Maps/Waze but sitting in silence feels odd. If I hit the radio button it will tune in on the channel I was on but obviously the Google Maps display is now gone.

Try pressing the Mode button on your steering wheel to switch audio sources while on the AA screen.

If it doesn’t work, press and hold the Mode button to check that FM/Sirius is enabled.

There is a setting in Android auto that says to resume media try turning that off. Once you get back to the radio it shouldn't change it anymore
