Hi everyone. First time posting here. Our Telluride was delivered on June 26th and I was rear-ended on July 30th. The damage appeared from the outside to be very minor. Once the insurance company for the person who caused the accident approved the repair, we dropped the car at our closest Kia dealership's collision center. That was August 10th. We need a new bumper reinforcement, and Kia has delayed delivery of it several times now. Last week, we were told they would announce the release date for the part on September 17th. Today the dealership called to say that Kia has now moved the announcement to October 19th. And that's just the announcement of when they'll release the part -- not when it will be in the hands of the dealership. I realize there are supply chain issues, but this seems excessive. The dealership told me that Kia wants to put all new parts on new Tellurides, and doesn't want to "waste them" on repairing damaged vehicles. I know there's nothing anyone can do here to help, but I just wanted to vent to people who would actually understand.
