• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi everyone. First time posting here. Our Telluride was delivered on June 26th and I was rear-ended on July 30th. The damage appeared from the outside to be very minor. Once the insurance company for the person who caused the accident approved the repair, we dropped the car at our closest Kia dealership's collision center. That was August 10th. We need a new bumper reinforcement, and Kia has delayed delivery of it several times now. Last week, we were told they would announce the release date for the part on September 17th. Today the dealership called to say that Kia has now moved the announcement to October 19th. And that's just the announcement of when they'll release the part -- not when it will be in the hands of the dealership. I realize there are supply chain issues, but this seems excessive. The dealership told me that Kia wants to put all new parts on new Tellurides, and doesn't want to "waste them" on repairing damaged vehicles. I know there's nothing anyone can do here to help, but I just wanted to vent to people who would actually understand. :(
