• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello,

I am sure there is some setting i need to adjust but not sure which one. Basically, I have captains chairs in 2nd row.

When I park and turn off the car, passengers in both 2nd row chairs can't open their doors by themselves from inside. I have to open them from outside. Any ideas how to fix this?

This is mainly an issue for one of the captain chairs as other captain chair has my kid in car seat and I don't want her to open the door from inside. 😆

There's the child lock setting just to the left of the driver on the door panel where the regular window up and down buttons are as well as the lock door buttons. It's easy to inadvertently turn on with a left elbow due to its proximity. I do it all the time. In that case, the doors can NOT be open from the inside. When it's on, there's a light indicator. Check that. I'm pretty sure that is the issue.

Thanks, child safety light was on by drivers side controls. I am dumb. Haha.
