Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... vids i've seen on youtube have dealers that do msrp plus fixed minor "administration" fee (like 4-500 bucks). order from them and then fly there, drive home.
recent vids from car guy croissant have this. new york to Missouri is ~ 16hr drive? easy road trip. fly in and drive back and even after all expenses you could save a ton.
that's what I would do ... but i'm in canada and it's all msrp at this time and I just had to order from factory and wait ~ 8 months.
