Thank you so much I appreciate it! Going to install mine on the next oil change.This helps a lot. Looking at the picture doesn’t it look like when you go to turn the handle to release all the oil it’s going to shoot it all on top of the cover? Maybe it’s the angle of the picture
No.
You'll have to remove the cover anyway--for access to the oil filter housing.
And the nipple portion is where the oil drains, not the part where the blue retention clip is attached.
