So I’ve had my Telluride SX-P Nightfall (Ebony Black/Gray) for a week (OK, 8 days) and here are my initial thoughts...
- The car is beautiful, inside and out!
- Build quality is top notch. I upgraded from a 2013 Honda Accord Touring, and I honestly believe the build quality of the Telluride is better.
- For a car of this size, the cabin is quiet. Haven’t discovered any wind noise problems.
- The premium sound system is very good. Plenty of bass.
- Seats are comfortable. Love the thigh extender!
- I love the heads-up display! It’s clear and very detailed. Changing the color of the speedometer is a nice touch. I have it set to green to mellow me out. And the blind spot indicators in the display? That may be the best feature of the car. That’s some Star Wars stuff.
- The car handles well. Power and acceleration are decent enough, if not revolutionary.
- The surround camera is awesome. It helps me squeeze the car into my tight garage.
- The infotainment/navigation controls are easy to use and very responsive. The infotainment system in my Accord was slow and horribly buggy, so I was happy to see this.
- You don’t think you need power folding mirrors until you have them.
Flaws? Only two minor ones I’ve found so far... the gas tank could use a bit more capacity and I can’t fit my iPhone 12 Pro flat on the Qi pad when a USB cable is plugged in.
Overall, I am even more in love with this car than I thought I would be. Hoping to enjoy it for many years!
