Question for those that had trade ins and got their Telly for MSRP.

Did the dealerships that got you MSRP low ball you on the trade in because you got MSRP?
That is the only thing I can think of them doing to make extra money being they didn't charge markup.

For me they didnt low ball, the offer was just $2000 less than selling to Carmax or another used car dealership I eventually sold to.

I was originally low balled on my trade in... dealer wouldn't budge on MSRP but called me back twice going from $24K trade in to $28K. Not sure if this had to do with a crazy used car market or dealer shenanigans.

Mine was MSRP with no trade. I sold my Grand Cherokee to Carvana, who were well above any other dealer trade valuation, and KBB.

no low ball for me. They actually gave $1000 over what Carvana offered.
