• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Lots of questions:

2022 (bought in July 21), 31k miles, 4.5 yrs

1. So I decided to use the auto-stop again (had it jammed locked) function and it almost never work. Checked the battery with a device and it showed quality=0, charged 79% (after 20 mile trip), crank test=normal. The car has no problem starting or any symptoms. Is my battery going out? Also, Google said it might going in protected mode (what is it) Is our battery flat plate or spiral wound AGM?

2. I thought AGM should last much longer than typical flooded. My Prius AGM (Bosch) lasted like 8 yrs.

3. How long does basic warranty cover the battery? I’d rather buy my own without the hassle of bringing it the dealer, but just curious. Most other cars warranty is only 3 yrs and usually the battery lasts longer.

THX

I expect & get ( 5 ) years out of an OEM battery.
Too new to Tellurides, ( April 2024 ), to tell what their battery life is.
As far as battery warranty, it's whatever the Mfg. states they will cover..
