• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My 21 Telly with only 5000 miles would not start. Engine would crank and then all kinds of lights and messages show up, but it wouldn't start. Found out I have pack rat damage with chewed wiring so I needed it towed to the dealer. Called Kia Roadside Assistance. Typed it all the info until it got stuck after I entered the VIN number so pushed the button to talk to an actual person. Verbally gave all the information but she got stuck at the VIN number too. Lots of hold time. Finally she wanted it towed to a dealer 100 miles away rather than in Flagstaff, 35 miles away. She couldn't find the Flagstaff dealer (where I bought it) on her system after I gave all the address and phone number. More holds. After an hour she says I need to call the dealer for authorization as apparently the Kia system didn't work. I hung up and went through my insurance and had the tow lined up in less than 15 minutes. Interesting though, both State Farm and Kia use the outside service rsahelp.com
