The front end does not like ice and snow. It collects quite well. It keeps chiming and warning sensor blocked. Anyway to turn that off or limit it?

That sucks. Every couple minutes it chimes it’s blocked. You hit ok and repeats.

Not related to snow and ice but I have a strange proximity sensor issue. If I drive about for a few minutes then pull into my garage the front sensors do not work nor does the front camera come on. If I stop, put into reverse, then back to drive the sensors fire up and move forward with camera and sensor working properly. Software glitch? Dealership was clueless.

I have this same issue. The parking sensors work when they want too. I am thinking about taking it to the dealer to see whats going on. The should work every time I put the car in reverse correct??!!

I think I figured it out. When you travel over 6 MPH those sensors are disabled. Stumbled on this in the manual this weekend. Never realized that I was driving into my garage that fast. When I slow down to less than 5 MPH they seem to work fine. PS. Tellurides are so new the dealers are completely lost. Try my suggestion and see if that works.

hmmmm. maybe time for us to read the manual to learn a few more things. Looks like I have some reading ahead of me. That is what makes this forum so great. All the owners helping others with problems and finding new ways to control things. Forum , Keep up the good work.

I have been trying to read the entire manual but it's so darned big and too easy to miss important details. These forums are lifesavers. User experience sharing is priceless.

I am having issues with my Telluride's proximity sensors working when they want to. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. The back sensors will pick up my neighbor's tree at 80 feet when I back out of my driveway, sometimes ... sometimes not. They will pick up people walking/approaching the back of the vehicle, sometimes .. sometimes not. The lane departure sensors will go off if I get close the the yellow or white lines on the side of the road, sometimes, sometimes not. No rhyme or reason to any of it. No consistent factors. Except, the sensors REALLY hate black vehicles. They don't show up it the sensors or cameras at night, even when you are a foot away, or up against one like happened to me because the sensors didn't go off and it didn't show in the cameras. Backed into a BIG BLACK YUKON, which was parked where it should not have been, but that's beside the point. Paid a lot of money for these sensors and they don't work right. Told the dealership about it a week and half after I got the vehicle. They looked at me like I had three heads. Anyone else have this issue??

Our sensors are working at all. Have had it to the dealer twice. They replaced something today but it didnt help. They said they need to contact Kia since they've never seen so many error codes for every sensor.
