• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I was charged $999 or Theft Patrol when purchasing a new 2022 Telluride and was told I had to pay for it? Does anyone know if that is a fact or can I go back and say I don't want it and get my money back?

It's a dealer mark-up item. You can try to get it knocked off or negotiated down, or if not, are you willing to walk away from the purchase?

Well, I already have the car and signed the contract. But nobody from Theft Patrol has reached out to me to set it up yet, so I'm hoping to get my contract revised. Plus I am trying to cancel the warranty and maintenance plan that was pushed on me as well. I can get the same warranty plan from Kia of Muncie for less than 1/2 of what I paid in California. I will do that instead

You've already signed the sales contract and have the car. You are probably stuck.

Were you able to cancel it? I'm in the same situation ...
