• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thank you!

Just got my Telluride back from dealership - I sent the TSB that someone on the forum had posted
For my TPMS issues and right side camera issues - holding my breath that this will be the fix.
Thank you for this Forum it definitely opened the eyes of my service advisor and Service Manager at my dealership.

The first post has been updated with revision 1 of the TSB.

There was a new section added to the TSB for an additional topic regarding a potential TPMS warning message issue.

Are these two issues related? Meaning if the cable connection for the camera flicker is fixed will it also correct the TPMS warning from coming on where there is not a low tire? I have both issues and can't get to the dealer for another two weeks.

Seems that way

I also had the same issue
First with TPMS and then my cameras - they finally inserted the coaxial cable into the rear door which they thought would fix both issues and it didn’t - then they redid the cable in the rear door and it so far has fixed the camera issue but the TPMS they had to replace the sensor, which they said was now considered a separate issue from the coaxial

Camera issue.
NOW after having the TPMS and camera issue fixed I’m now having problems with my heads up display feature and the lighting for the dashboard and cameras and is back in the dealership having that worked on today....still love my Telluride - BUT if they can’t figure out the problem today we have decided to trade our vehicle in and cut our lose....

Thx. So long as the tires are holding air (which they are after 2 days since the sensor warning came on and I added air) is there any reason to believe it is not safe to drive? I cannot get into the dealer until January and want to be certain I am not taking any chances.

I would feel safe manually checking the tire pressures and continue driving the vehicle

I am having the same problems. Both the right turn signal camera is flickering and the TPMS keeps coming on. Brought to dealer about 3 weeks ago and they said they would have to open a "tech line" issue with kia, but haven't heard back from them. For the TPMS they said tires needed air, which seems to have alleviated problem for now. Just tried calling service dept back since I haven't heard back from them in weeks and will let them know about TSB 213. Has anyone who had this problem had it succesfully fixed yet?

I haven't been to the dealer, yet. Airing up the tires (they had lost significant pressure, presumably due to colder winter temps) seems to have corrected the TPMS issue as I've not seen it again. The camera issue still comes and goes. I plan to take it to the dealer, soon, now that the holidays are over.

i have had my Telluride in several times for the camera issue and TPMS I think they have finally fixed the issue on both - keeping my fingers crossed BUT when I got my car back the last time my “heads up display and cameras were not working correctly and finally took it to another dealership who kept it for about 8 days Said they were working with technicians at their Kia headquarters and finally found it was a fuse that needed to be replaced ?? Not sure but you do need to call the Kia consumer affairs and open a case they will give you a case number and follow up with your dealership to make sure they are up to date with latest issues and good repairs - they are a help - the number you will find In The back of your owners Manuel!
This is an on going problem so don’t let them tell it’s not! The TPMS when the message comes up on mine said it was an issue with the system and get the system checked not the tires. Good luck

Been to the dealer twice now, and they are aware of TSB 213. First time they replaced the camera, and second time they removed and tightened PIN tension on mirror connectors in the door panel (I'm not sure if that second fix is part of TSB 213 or not, but it kind of sounds like it, but paperwork does not reference the TSB at all). Both times the right camera started to flicker within 1 day of having car back. This is getting annoying.

Thanks for the update. My local dealer is small and probably hasn't faced this issue. I'm holding off a bit waiting for there to be a solid solution before I let them start tearing things up. It sounds like that solution has not yet been found.

Yes, I don't really like the idea of them taking the car apart either. Hope it doesn't lead to more issues. Will update after my third trip to dealer.

Just an update, have had mine back now for about a week after 3 trips to the dealer. Seems like the right camera is finally fixed (hope it stays that way). Before the last trip, I called Kia consumer affairs to get their advice. They gave me a case number and told me to bring it back to the dealer and they would follow up. The dealer was great for all 3 trips. They had it for about 7 days on this last go around because I think they wanted to drive it over multiple days to test it out. And they did perform the Technical service bulletin posted above.

The attachment in the original post has been updated to Revision 2.

Only change seems to be for dealer reporting codes, but best to have latest version posted to the thread.

Anyone have any updates on this TPMS and camera image quality issue? I still haven't had it addressed. My camera has been working fine, lately. The TPMS issue, which only occurs after about 20-30 minutes of highway speeds, is not happening every time anymore, either. I'm still reluctant to let my local dealer work on it and can't commit the time away from home to take it to the next closest dealer (120 miles away), right now.
