• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I recently bought a 2022 Kia Telluride and dealership talked me into buying the extended warranty and I ended up buying it. After reading the posts in this group, I realized that I got conned as the EW coverage is not that great and the whole package is way too expensive ( $2500, with $500 deductible and 6 years/100k coverage).

I have been trying to reach several of the dealership contacts in number of different ways (phone/email/text) but they are conveniently ignoring me and not responded to any of my comms.

What options do I have? Can I call the warranty company and cancel it? I believe if I do this, it still goes to dealership to complete the paperwork right? I feel like I am kind of stuck here. Any help or guidance here is very much appreciated.

Thanks

The warranty company should be able to cancel it for you.

Who have you been calling at the dealership? Have you just called the front desk and asked for the finance manager? That's where I'd start if you're having trouble getting a hold of someone there. Just keep calling back until you stop getting their voicemail and they actually pick up.

I tried calling the sales person I worked with and also the general manager as I don't have the direct number of the finance manager I worked with. I will try calling again. Otherwise, I will have to directly call the warranty company. Thanks

Just call the receptionist, they can get you on the phone with anyone you need to talk to.
