Rebadged Nightfall with Brenthon 3G Semi-Matt Black Emblems

I rebadged my SXP Nightfall with the Brenthon 3G Semi-Matt Black badges. I figured I’d share with the group in case anyone was interested in how these looked. It was really easy to do. For anyone who is hesitant to do it just know if this CPA can do it anyone can! Happy holidays everyone!

I just purchased the front, rear and steering wheel emblems. They cost $80 in total before shipping. Shipping was another $20.

That's not to bad. Did any particular YouTube video help with the removal of the old badge and install of the new?

Nope. I used a hair dryer on the back emblem for about 10 minutes and then I prayed off with pry tools and flat head screw driver I bought at a local auto store. Came off real easy. The front I used the pry tools and flat head screw driver and broke the 1st tab at 1 o’clock and then went around. My advice is don’t be afraid just commit to it and it’s super easy. Rebadged in about 20 minutes.

The 3rd generation comes in matte black and chrome only, but I noticed less chrome in your photos. Do you have to alter anything colorwise?

Okay, I went to the Brenthon website and found the matte black instead of what's available in the forum store. I am not sure of the different choices though. I'm zeroing on 169TK for the front and 149K for the back. Is this how you ordered yours? Thank you so much for your help.

I also ordered a complete set of Brightons from the forum store and even confirmed that matte black/chrome is all they carry. I prefer to patronize our store, but I really need the chromeless emblems for my nightfall. If you check their return policy, if it's unused and returned within 30 days, no restocking fee is charged. You have to pay to ship it back plus a 3.5% transaction fee.

i am in canada so it doesn’t make sense for me to ship back, plus transaction fee, plus conversion. i’m sure i’ll love them and i think the bit of chrome will look appropriate on mine as it’s not nightfall/nightsky

Just noting that the 3.5% transaction fee is only if you purchase an item and then cancel it before it ships. If you receive an item and return it, we eat the transaction fee. Most vendors do not, however. The transaction fee is not recovered so the vendor pays that fee. So most vendors recover that expense (at no fault of their own) with a restocking fee. However, we don't charge restocking fees either - other than for an unused JB4 tuner returned without its packaging.

The pictures are much appreciated, @themangia! I'm just about to order mine. Would you mind sharing a pic of the steering wheel emblem you recieved? It's bugging me out that the manufacturer's shopping cart doesn't indicate Semi-Matte Black for the "Steering wheel S02 Curve".
