• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... this is what I just ordered. I haven’t seen Dune Brown or everlasting silver in person yet so I hope I like this color combo.

kept going back and forth between GG and ES.
I did the same thing and finally ordered the ES. While I know it’s subjective, I am so happy with the ES. An amazing color that changes with different lighting. Just love it

good to hear...we have always gone with dark grey cars with black interiors. Decided to do something different which makes me a bit nervous. LOL. Especially when I haven’t seen my color combo in person.

I really liked the grey nappa interior that we saw in person but was nervous that it would be tough to keep clean with 2 kids. Dune brown looks great in photos. Hopefully I feel the same once I see it in person.

Picked up my Everlasting Silver with Butterscotch this weekend. I really love the color combination.
Hey I’m new to the board and am between ordering Sterling Silver/Butterscotch vs Sterling Silver/Dune. Can you post or send me a few more pics showing both the exterior and interior. Can’t really afford to order a car I might not like. Lol How has it performed (color fade, peeling). I don’t know if there’s really a difference in quality vs the “Nappa “ Dune brown. Just trying to get a first hand opinion. Thanks

I don’t have Sterling Silver, I have Dark Moss, but I do have Butterscotch leather. I had seen Dune in a Black Telly before I bought mine and really didn’t care for it. I know some people love it, but I didn’t. Saw Butterscotch and loved it.

One thing to remember is Dune is only available if you get the SX with Prestige package which gives you a few more features, such as ventilated and heated second row seats, Heads up display, fuzzy wuzzy headliner, a 110v inverter, and automatic rain sensing windshield wipers. None of these extras interested me much (kids left home long ago so no need for heated/cooled rear seats, and I have HUD in my Corvette and could live without it. ).

Therefore, I intentionally did not get the Prestige package because I really wanted that Butterscotch leather. (By the way Butterscotch is only available in the SX trim without Prestige). Also, a little known fact is that Butterscotch is the only leather option that comes with a very classy (in my opinion) plain black cloth-like headliner. All the other non-Prestige leather options come with a light beige or off white headliner.

I have had my Telly for almost a year now and so far the leather has held up very well. Is Napa “better?” Maybe, but I have been more than satisfied with my non-Napa seats and feel the Butterscotch leather with the black interior trim and headliner really pops.

We ordered the Everlasting Silver/Butterscotch combo. At first, I didn't like the Butterscotch from the photos. But then I saw it in person on someone else's car and it is beautiful. I would describe it (as someone did to me) as the color of peanut butter. Pull out a jar and look inside. That's the color of the butterscotch seat if that helps.

Thanks I really appreciate it. We did the same and went with FWD. Yeah cause like you pointed out you can only get a dark roof liner with either butterscotch or dune brown (which is a gray liner). We've got 2 kids and and the extra cost for the prestige really was of no value to me (my wife might say otherwise, since it will be her car). If you run across any pics of the combo send a couple my way. They're suppose to call me tomorrow to take deposit. At MSRP of course but No markup Fee!!

I have the ES with Dune in the SX AWD N/P. I love the color combination.

Is Sterling a different name for Everlasting or is it a different silver?

As for Nappa or not, IMO look at the other pieces of the Prestige package and see how highly you value them. That should really be the deciding factor vs Nappa or non-Nappa.

That was my typo. Lol Everlasting Silver. Waiting for the dealer to call back and confirm our order and take deposit. We went with ES/butterscotch FwD.
