  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Newbie Intro and seeking recommendations on weather floor mats

Welcome to the forum. Searching for "mats" will bring up few matches. Kia OEM, Weathertech, Tuxmat, ToughPro, Smartliner, and 3DMaxPider are custom fit brands that gets mentioned often here. They all do their job well. It all depends on your preference in how they look.

Hello - Just a short intro and question. Recently purchased 2021 NF Telluride in Southeast TX and wondering if anyone has recommendations on winter/weather floor mats specifically for driver and passenger side area.
You will find all sorts of strong opinions on winter/all-weather floor mats here.

If your concern is driver and passenger, they'll all serve you pretty well. If you don't mind the edge lip that rides up a little and an advertisement for their website, WeatherTech is your play. Husky Liners also work really well.

I chose the OEM all-weather floor mats because of the perfect fit, thickness, and comfort for my non pedal foot. They hook on to the floor hook tabs perfectly and don't slide around.

If you need maximum 2nd row coverage, the OEMs are not the best for that. WeatherTech has one that goes over the center hump, which could catch some spills from the cup holders, if y'all are using those.

3rd row, I still think WeatherTech has everyone beat. I don't use the 3rd row so for me it's not an issue.

TuxMats are extremely popular on this Forum. For me, the basketball skin texture is a total dealbreaker, plus I think they look ugly as heck and don't hook onto the floor tabs, but supposedly they offer great coverage if you have kids/car seats in the 2nd and 3rd rows.

Anyway, just my opinions. There are no shortage of opinions here :)

Just get WeatherTech or Smartliners. You could spend hours researching and pricing and become overwhelmed.

TuxMats for me.....been in there for 18k miles now and still look good! ....fit very well and I found them to be easier to clean than the Weather Techs I had in my previous vehicles.

After owning different brands of floor liners over the years. WeatherTech wins hands down. Yes, you will pay more but you will no regret it. They last forever, easy to clean, protect your vehicles floor. I have a set of WeatherTech’s in my truck for 9 yrs so far and still look brand new with no signs of wear. Other brands showed signs of wear in only a year, especially the drivers side mat where your heel rest.

Thanks all for the quick responses. I decided to go with OEM Floor Mats, All-Weather - Kia (SPF13-AC000) So, I will post the original floor mats for sale soon.

My dealer threw in a full set of OEM Kia mats at no extra charge, so that's what I have. Actually quite nice and functional, if function if important to you. Had I not gotten these for free I had been planning on WeatherTech. The TuxMats are a good choice is you want something that looks classy too.
