• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 24 miles. Even if they had driven it from the rail yard and then taken it to the gas station, that wouldn't have added up to 13-14 miles extra from the normal amount driven between testing and shipping.

I suppose if they didn't abuse it I'm not super upset. There wasn't any apparent issues other than it was dirty from being driven on salty roads. It's not wise on their part to conceal what they did after saying they wouldn't let anyone drive it.

I call BS on the "drive it 10 miles with an iPad". Nobody does that.

I say we all go back and edit our online reviews to include "don't believe them when they say they won't drive it". Either that or they can pony up some incentive not to share it with the world.

I was skeptical on the iPad thing but I asked for some pics of the car and they sent me some. One of them had an iPad with a KIA logo on it. I zoomed in on the part of the screen that was in the pic and it had drive distance, drive time, and max road speed. I’m not sure why they do that, but I will see tomorrow how many miles it has on it when I go pick it up.

I voted 6-10. It had 10 Miles on the odometer when we picked it up....with a full tank of gas.

13 miles when we got to the dealer. We drove about a mile or two as a quick test drive of that particular one. I think it was at 15 when we drove off the lot headed for home.

My car had 8 miles on it when I went to pick it up. Put 10 miles on it during test drive out to the highway to test it up to ~80 mph. 300 mile ride home was great!
