• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Turbo or supercharger for my telluride

Go to a local trusted exhaust shop and have them make one. Cat back would probably be the same price for the borla axle back.
I’ll wait on a truly bolt on solution from someone who has engineered it. I don’t want to take the chance of choosing the wrong OD pipe and resonator and have the car drone.

You need to trust people in there field. I think they know how to size an exhaust system.

Im not going to take a brand new car to a muffler shop so Bobby Earl can guess what size diameter an exhaust needs to be and guess what resonator would be best. If that was the case why are people even getting this borla axle back? They could just have any ol muffler put on.

They get the Borla because you can install it in your driveway yourself. Paying over 500 for a muffler is insane. You really do not need a cat back exhaust, the exhaust is already good. if I wanted a louder Telluride I would have an exhaust shop make one and cut off the stock tips and weld it to the new muffler.

Is anyone still interested in the borla exhaust? I actually installed mine today. Can’t post videos here unfortunately

Yep, definitely still interested. Would love to see and hear your install experience.

You should be able to hit media and add the link url to you video if it is in one of these approved sites: Apple Music, Dailymotion, Facebook, Flickr, Giphy, Imgur, Instagram (Legacy), Liveleak, Metacafe, Pinterest, Reddit, SoundCloud, Spotify, Tumblr, Twitch, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube

Thank you! I will definitely do that. Actually making a post about it on Facebook and will be adding here

. I installed the Borla exhaust Monday morning solo. Took roughly about 30-40min. Extra 10 min was because I forgot my pry at at home but I was at a local home depot parking lot doing the install so I ran down and bought one. Instructions ask for a 13 and 15mm socket but I actually used a 15mm and 19mm I believe. I took videos of install and will be making an install video later on when I get a chance to sit on my computer, hopefully tomorrow or Thursday. I have some cold start and a quick Rev nothing serious because I do live in Brooklyn and finding an empty lot sometime is a hassle with security now 😂. But will definitely find a spot to record some drive bys so everyone can know what they getting there self into. I like the sound a lot, but also glad I got a discount on this exhaust. Not to crazy sound but also a little hard to hear in the cabin. Hope you all enjoy and if anyone has questions or thinking about this exhaust please ask away!I put my Reddit link for the cold start with the exhaust. Have to post a quick rev as well.

The tips looks sweet man. Also good sound on it.

Would you say a relatively noob at home mechanic can pull this off by themselves with the right tools?

100% I’m making a video that hopefully is in good detail about what tools and how I did it. Literally took me about 30-40 min to take off old one and install the new one. All you would need is a lubricant, socket wrench with at least a 3in extender. 15mm and a 19mm sockets and a pry bar. But you would need ramps, and those were about 60$. I’ll post the video hopefully in the next few days and hopefully it will help you out if you do the install. But yes I think this is a straight up mod that anyone can do!

Awesome thank you! I have all of that with the exception of a pry bar.

Pry bar I got because I left mine at home was about 10$ with tax. You don’t need it, but it was a huge help!!! Especially doing the install solo. I’d recommend it for sure

Can I ask where/how you got a discount for the exhaust? $500 is pretty steep for this upgrade. Thanks!

Honestly it was luck. I was just going though stuff about a week or two after Black Friday and they had money off everything including the muffler. I do agree 500 is a bit steep.

Ah got it. Maybe it will come down. If Borla made too many then it should decrease a bit especially if it's non compatible on the 2022s.

I'm pulling hairs here but I'd do it for 350-400ish.
