• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Front-End Friday

Hahah, I've driven past numerous CHP and Sheriff the last several weeks and no issues whatsoever. I doubt it's ever enforced unless there's an actual driving-related reason to get pulled over.

Can you hike up the hill with your snowboard and get at least one run in? :)
Can do in local parks. But the bigger hills are all private resorts. Just gotta wait out January. Everything reopening on the 25th, I think.

Yeah right, the 24th is when they will break your heart. I keep thinking I’ll finally get my kids out of the house and they keep extending the school closures...

My kid is in first year uni. What an awful introduction this year has been to university life. But I feel even more for parents like you with kids at home!

I’d like to think minor traffic enforcement is way down due to COVID
I'd like to think so too. This past Christmas, the majority of CA Sheriffs refused to enforce unconstitutional orders. Why would they bother forcing me to ruin the natural aesthetics of my good-looking Telly? If I do get pulled over for a valid reason and a deputy asks me to put the front plate on, I have some zip ties and duct tape in my Telly's ample storage well, as well as the dealer-provided mount, which I'm going to pretend doesn't exist. If I receive a fix-it ticket, I can find myself a no-drill mount, or better yet, temporarily use the aforementioned ties/tape until the ticket gets cleared

I needed to see the snow and spend some quality time driving my Telly up to the mountains and back as a form of therapy. Breathing in the crisp mountain air, and letting the Telly safely slip on the ice and snow in front of some vacation rentals was exactly what I needed. Not surprisingly, I'm feeling a lot better today :)

Sorry to hear it. I know so many students who are waiting until campuses re-open. Virtual schooling is not a good situation, and yes, we all feel for the parents too. Just an awful way to live/work/study.

Yeah I saw there’s a million signatures already

It's happening. The sanctimonious one himself refuses to answer any questions about his impending recall at every press conference. The state of the State is not good right now. Tesla, Oracle, HP have fled in horror. Elon listed all his CA residential properties for sale. Joe Rogan moved to Texas. Most everyone I know has moved to Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Texas, Florida. The super rich, including many Hollywood types, have bought up so many of the properties in the cutesy mountain ski towns around the Western/Mountain states.

Many of us, including myself, will be running for Governor when the signature count automatically triggers a Recall Election. Last time, Arnold "The Governator" won. I'm not going to win, but it will be fun campaigning in my Telly. :)

How did the AWD perform in the snow and slick roads

How did the AWD perform in the snow and slick roads
Performed excellent. Rain, snow, mud, slush, slick asphalt, salty/sandy/dirty roads, concrete, rock road, pebble road, dirt road, snowy dirt road, smooth surfaces, rough surfaces, low speed, high speed, uphill, downhill, uneven terrain, my Telly was a great performer and handled everything I threw at it, yesterday at least.

It didn't slip except when I intentionally tried to spin out the back end on a really icy side street, which was so much fun :)

Next goal is to slip and slide around a muddy field with traction control off/on like the AWD Dark Moss Telly SX in that one Kia commercial :ROFLMAO:

It’s an amazing vehicle😎

It sure is. I have a few chips in the windshield but overall, my Telly is still intact when I pushed it with some mildly challenging driving in mixed conditions. I know exactly which car launched the rocks at my Telly because I keep a lot of space between my car and other vehicles on the road. It was another f***ing Subaru Outback driver who didn't look, didn't check, didn't watch where he's merging and quickly almost merged into me, kicking a barrage of small rocks into the air then having the gaul to brake check me. I swear the Ninth circle of Hell is reserved for the all the incompetent Subaru Outback drivers I had to deal with yesterday. Even Prius drivers aren't that bad.

Time to kick off Front End Friday this week so I will start it off.
