  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi first post for me. Awesome information on this board! I’m shopping for an SX in the NYC metro area and I wanted to ask how the failcat “Created” date relates to the dealership’s website inventory page?

Once the car goes into production(AKA VIN created/failcat), it could take 2-6 weeks to show up at dealer lot. Dealer has the option(read somewhere that they are encouraged) to advertise as "in-stock" and sell the car if it's not spoken for already.

Got it. Thanks for the info!
