• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... You're like me... Got a list of 15 things to buy before u get the Telly. Here is what I have on the list: all of the turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic sprays, car wash items like mitts/ soaps, pressure washer, badges, key fob covers, Smartliners. I like the idea of black lugnuts.

Haha join the club. I ordered a bunch of OEM accessories from the Hilltop Ford/Kia Parts Department and most of them arrived a few days after the Telly arrived. I maybe used the Carpeted Floor Mats for 2 or 3 days tops.

OEM Carpeted Cargo Mat w/ Seat Back Protection <--- awesome fit for the cargo area from edge-to-edge.
OEM All Weather Floor Mats <--- perfect material for my heels/feet, attaches/fits perfectly with the floor hook tabs, and super easy to remove, clean, dry and re-install.
OEM Cargo Cover <--- Costs a substantial amount more than if you get it from the factory and it's listed on the sticker. Try to get this in when your order gets picked up by KFOS

OEM Wheel Locks <--- depends on where you live and reasonably priced.

Leather key fob holder <--- ordered it a few days after I got the car and love it

WeatherTech TechCare Complete Exterior Wash/Wax kit <--- love the wheel cleaner, clay, wax, detailing cloths and everything else in the kit.

Evidently, I'm not the only one shopping for Telly accessories...LOL. Right now, the most important one are the floor mats. Carpet just won't work in our rural area.

You won't be disappointed with the SmartLiners. They cover the space between Captain's chairs so well without a gap between 2nd & 3rd rows. Just missing the Canvasback cargo and back of seat covers!

Banda Leather key cover on etsy is beautiful and classy. Ships from Korea, custom made in multiple leather colors, so takes a few weeks but well worth the wait. Also packaged really well. You can specify 2020 or 2021 fob (with cutout for remote start).

Any recomendations on how the OEM all weather mats compare to the others? I was going to get Smartliners.

Hi @superk1977:

OEM all weather floor mats

Pros: perfect fit, perfect attachment, perfect thickness/composition of the material, comfortable for heel or the soles of your feet, "TELLURIDE" stamped directly into the material for the driver's and passenger's mats.
Cons: 2nd row mats are two pieces for the feet of the passengers. If you need a 1-piece solution for the 2nd row that goes over the center hump, get the WeatherTech liner (1-piece, molded, that goes over the hump)

WeatherTech floor liners/mats

Pros: 2nd and 3rd rows are great and maximize coverage where it counts. The material is exactly what you liked about previous WeatherTech's although they have different options now.
Cons: 1st row (driver's and passenger's mats have a high lip that can catch on shoes and curl in over time, heat and UVA/UVB exposure. Huge advertisement for WeatherTech with their website address in their color scheme. I prefer the OEM All Weather's because "TELLURIDE" is stamped in to the material, way better looking.

Husky Liners:

Pros: Love the material, pretty decent coverage. Can have similar problems to WT over time but will be good for years.
Cons: No 3rd row liners?

Smartliners:

Pros: decent coverage, supposedly people still like them, had a great reputation years ago, but have since moved production out of the USA to reduce costs.
Cons: no longer made in the USA. I have no idea if the QA/QC is as good as before but you can ask other Telluride Forum users.

Tuxmats:  they couldn't pay me to use their poorly-designed totally fugly horribly-textured liners and I won't "pin" anything into my Telly. Weak sauce, but somehow popular and some people think they look "upscale":ROFLMAO:

I have an extra set of barely used/like new OEM All Weather Floor Mats that I bought from another Telluride Forum user (shipped from Texas) because I thought my sister was also getting a Telly to replace her post-Dieselgate VW/Audi Q7 that sucks so much more than her pre-Dieselgate Q7, but it looks like she's going to stick it out in her sucky ride so she's not in the market for a Telly and won't be getting a set of mats for her birthday or for Christmas.

If you're interested, shoot me a DM :)

I paid around that much for a real leather key fob cover in Dune-ish Brown, from the same company that @BasilFawlty got his green/yellow stitching cover.

It feels like real leather, takes scratches like real leather, dents like real leather. It's real leather, looks good, natural and fits the key fob perfectly, plus looks really good. Mine is brown/brown stitching and the bronze key ring looks great with it. For me it's worth it but YMMV (y)

It is real leather with brass snap and ring. Still smells like leather 4 months later. Thick leather with finished edges, not raw cut edges like some I've seen. I had a cheap one from Honda that broke in a month. This truly is worth the price.

Thanks for the great summary above. Decisions decisions.
@TN Gal: Happy to help. Sorry if I'm a bit too savagely critical on any design that I personally don't like :)
