I think you’ll find ridiculous markups in the So Cal area; get with @DarkMossJustin he purchased his Telly at MSRP at Hilltop Kia near the Bay Area.

Thanks for the info. I checked with Hilltop, they have 185 Tellurides on order and he's expecting 8mo wait with no hangups. Looks like my closest MSRP dealers will be Denver, CO and Casper, WY. Sad that the dealers are like this but I'll be a fun roadtrip to go pick it up!

True. I live in SoCal and couldn't find any decent deals or dealers willing to negotiate here. Luckily my parents live between the Sacramento and Oakland areas and Hilltop Ford/Kia in Richmond is only 25-30 minutes from my parents' place in rural Solano County.

MSRP + tax/title/license + a doc fee under $90 is pretty much a win for me and a win for the dealership, plus now I'm kind of a Kia Motors super fan and want a Stinger GT2 in SWP or a Forte GT-Manual in Blue or SWP to really carve up the Pacific Coast Highway between Mugu Rock and County Line, not that I didn't just do that an hour ago and last night 'round midnight in Sport Mode in my awesome Dark Moss Dune Brown Telly

Welcome new fellow SoCal member. Initially I visited most South Bay LA and OC dealers looking for a Telluride that I want. Dealers start markups at $8K, one dealer had a $14K markup for a SX AWD with tow, nightfall, and prestige packages. You might be able to negotiate, but that depends on how desperate is the dealer, if at all. I did find I-25 Kia, near Denver, will order and sell at MSRP. Since I often visit family in Colorado, it was not a problem for me to pickup and drive back to California. So far, after three weeks, my Telluride have been a great replacement for my previous suburban size SUV.
