Runningboards on NightSky vs Nightfall differences

I got my Telluride on the 14 this month and thrilled with all the "stuff" and honestly just now coming up for air. Settings, technology and automation kept me busy. I got it washed for the first time and while sitting there looking at it while they dried it I noticed that the runningboards are "chrome'ish" instead of black chrome. Google showed me a couple photos of a Canada Nightsky with black runningboards.
Does anyone have a NFE with running boards in the states and are they black or chrome?
Are the runningboards dealer installed or factory?

OEM running boards down here are chrome with some black in them. They don't offer all black running boards . Also they come factory installed if thats how you placed your order initially.
