Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I would say that going to a Kia dealership will be your best bet.

You can buy a key, the Internet is full of offers, and cheaper than from a dealer. but without a dealer or a special scanner, you cannot connect it to the car.
Each key has a unique number that must be entered into the brain of the car and, of course, the old key must be deleted from memory.
There were a couple of threads on the forum with the same problem.
