• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Say hello to everyone here!

I've been a member of this forum since I ordered my Telluride back in August 2020. I received it on October 1st and the forum has been a great source of information and "how-to's".

I know several users already that live in my area and hoping when all this pandemic stuff is behind us, it will great to meet everyone in person and see what everyone has done to their Telly.

This would be awesome! Ordered mine in Aug 2020 and just got it Feb 25. This forum is great!

Glad you have your new ride now. Enjoy!

Let's try to meet up when it's safer to do so. Until then, keep upgrade your Telly :)

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Us fellow Everlasting Silver team members have to stick together.

Been a member since I found the forum Aug '19 after originally ordering my 'Silver' SXP in Apr '19... had an awful experience with local dealer and ended up having to order again thru a Minneapolis dealer, finally taking delivery in Sep.

@KML , where did you get color matched side molding?

I've been waving when passing other Tellys... never with acknowledgement... guess it's not like passing other bike riders...

Will try to keep an eye on the IL chapter...

All 3 of you guys are ES triplets. I feel left out.

My wife laughs when I wave to fellow Telly drivers.

Check out the link below where I posted a thread under this club for a list and link to everything that I've done to my Telluride.

Well, in just 1-1/2 hours you have 6 Illinois members. I'm sure by the morning you'll see other fellow Wolf Gray members in this club :)

I think I invited everyone that mentioned Chicago in the forums. :)

I've seen most all variation of colors around town but have not seen another WG yet. I would like to keep it that way.

Hey... how's it going? I'm in Lake in the Hills., though moving down to TN at the end of the month (tired of the taxes here in IL).

Had my Black Copper SXP a little over a year now, and just under 14k miles. Been great so far. Only a couple wonky things that I've had, one which still isn't fixed.

1) Had some trash in my paint in one spot...used to drive me nuts, they fixed it under warranty a few weeks back.

2) Trailer lights. Brake lights work fine, but the tail lights and running lights short out after about 2 minutes. Rendering driving at night impossible with a trailer. Claim it's as designed and that lights are pulling too much draw. Sorry, but 6 mini bulbs isn't a ton of draw. Happens when I've pulled uhaul trailers or trailers from home depot as well so it isn't my trailer. When I go to grab my boat so I can bring it down to TN, I'm going to try swapping those marker lights and tail lights for LED and see if it's any better. My guess is that this issue is no longer a problem for those with 21's since they moved to the 7 pin and probably changed the wiring.

Hey there neighbor! Sorry to hear you are moving away.

Welcome Buck. You'll love the Telly. This forum has lots to offer you from ideas to solving possible issues that may come up.

I drove past by that dealer the other day. Is that the small(ish) dealer on Pulaski & Lincoln? Do they sell at MSRP? Glad you found your car.

Yes that's it very small. Pulaski turns into Crawford a block or two south of the dealership.

MSRP + $330 (Doc fee & CVR) + Tax, Title, & Registration.

I have a signed contract and made a $1000 fully refundable deposit. So far so good. They are not great at communication so far but that's not a huge deal to me. They generally get about 2-3 SXs allocated monthly and I am 3rd on the list so might have to wait until April.

Idk whether to pay cash or finance the whole thing. I will probably go right up to the point of signing papers with the Finance guy/gal to make certain they honor their word and then if it feels right ask them what they can do for me if I finance the whole thing. I'll keep that in my back pocket then maybe spring it on them to change the leverage.

That doc fee should have included title & registration, but T&R is not that bad in IL so you did quite well. gratz! As for financing, get a quote from a credit union if you are a member. They often beat Kia's promotions. If you really want to save every dollar, do what I did, take the $500/2.25% then refinance with CU with lower rate.

This is a good option. I was able to 1.9% for 66 months. I had called my credit union ahead of time and they were higher... Still loving the ride! Plan to add WT mudflaps and hand wash for 1st time tomorrow!

Hey y’all

telluride S moss green owner since June of 2019. Bought mine from the lincolnwood dealership. Loving the car ever since I got it. Been seeing a lot more around where I live. I upgraded the headlights and blacked out the letterings. Upgrading the sound next. I’m getting 2 12s put in next week as well.
