UVO activation?

Does the UVO activation require cell service? I got signed in on my PC and it then said go start the car to finish setup. We have no cell service in our TN holler. If that's the case, we'll just wait until the next time we drive into town. Unless, I'm doing something wrong here. Any knowledge you wanna pass down?

Yes, the UVO applications use cell service to communicate to your Telluride and vice versa.

So if you don’t have cell coverage; you can’t use any of the functions through the UVO app. No remote start; door lock and unlock etc. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this limitation

Thank you. Hubbie wants to drive into town to get the UVO connected but I will remind him of that limitation. I highly suspect he just wants to drive the Telly.
