Recently bought a new Telluride and love it! I always join a forum for my rides to keep up with what's going on with them. Don't let the gray hair fool you. I'm lots older than I look.

Worked with my hands (and back, until I wised up) all my life. Welder, machinist, fabricator, hot rodder, mechanical engineer (late bloomer), and now college professor. (And yes, God has a HUGE sense of humor. Long story.) Also husband of 52 years and father of two sons.

Anyway, Howdy! Don't mind me. I'll mostly just lurk.

2011 Volvo XC70 AWD with 190k miles. Wheel bearings were going out. I've always done all of my own work but time is catching up with me. Would cost $2,500 at the nearest Volvo dealer (125 miles away) to have it repaired (bearings, brakes, etc.). Blue Book on the car was $1,600. Kia dealer offered $2,000 trade and a good enough deal on the pimp 2WD Telluride. Looked like the thing to do. We like to have at least one AWD in the stable, so I traded my 2011 Nissan Frontier with 180k miles for a new Honda Ridgeline Black. (It's actually white, but whatever.) AWD, more interior room, more storage, quieter, and better mileage. And back to two car payments. I look at it this way: Upside + Downside = Balance. Well, after they're paid off.
