• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Did the State of California force an extra part into my Telly that cars from other states don't require?

Nope - nothing extra... just tells them how to get the data collected by the ECU out to send to the State of CA... you know how CA is about monitoring just about everything...

California’s motto should be “Because We Know Better, Except When We Don’t”.

Thanks @bogie!

Yup, the bureaucratic imbeciles running the state into the ground and the sheeple who voted for them seem to have read Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four as a playbook to follow and execute instead of as a cautionary tale about a totalitarian big government scenario.

Hah. Don't get me started. I have pretty much two feet out the door and am just doing a farewell tour of my favorite spots to drive to in my home state until I finally leave. :)
