  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello! Was torn between the Palisade and Telluride. We have loved the Telluride for years but didn't need a new car until recently (now have 2 kids in rear-facing car seats, and I currently have in Infiniti Q50 sedan). We were considering the Palisade since it is the sister vehicle, the same size, and easier to get our hands on one - however I can't get past the exterior of the Palisade, even though I like the interior more (more technology, digital dash, etc). I love the nightfall package, and by time I paid to do all of that to the Palisade model I would want - it would cost me more than a Telluride SXP w/ Nightfall and Tow.

Just put a deposit down on March 29th (Gravity Gray w/ Black interior, SXP w/ Nightfall and tow). The wait is estimated 6-8 months (through a dealer that is offering the Costco Discount of $1200 off MSRP). There is a good chance it will get bumped to a 2022 model if it isn't built earlier. I can put an order in at a different dealership to get the car sooner, but then I lose out on the Costco discount.
I am hoping for a digital dash on the 2022, and will be mad if I wait 6-8 months for my car (when I could've gotten it sooner) if the 2022 is almost the same as the 2021 and the MSRP increases due to demand.

Even though my car is tight for the RF car seats, it is fine to drive until my Telluride gets here. However this 6-8 month wait is going to be painful, ugh.

I wouldn’t expect too many changes for the 2022 but that is opinion

We have the exact telluride you just ordered but the 🇨🇦 version (SX limited with nightsky/black interior) you’ll love it. Definitely a hard long wait at 6-8 months as mine was a hard wait at just over 1 month 😂. I imagine most likely you’ll be a 2022 with that time line. Nice thing is if you did a refundable deposit you can wait to see what’s changed for the 2022, and if not much that’s not worth the price increase I’m sure you could just cancel and search around for a 2021 that hasn’t sold yet due to the 2022 coming out.

Awesome!! I had to go to many dealerships to finally see the color in person! I was torn between it and white, but my last 2 cars were white so I'm thinking time for a change :)
Your idea is a great one, however it seems the exact car I want, is never on a lot anywhere (or it is, but at a dealer where they are charging a ton over MSRP). We will see how it goes. The other dealership can get it in 2-3 months when I order, but I'm afraid I will get the car before the 2022's are announced and then will be in the same boat, LOL. Decisions decisions!
