• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We're doing Wolf Grey SXPT. Hoping to go on many a road trip with our expanding family!

Are the pics you posted near the beach taken in Avila Beach?

Wolf Gray SX P/T sounds amazing for family road trips. AWD right?

Wait until you experience Sport Mode and Snow Mode :)

I did most of my break-in with Comfort, which is great for a default drive mode.

Play around with the different drive modes and see what fits you best.

For me:

Freeway on-ramps: Sport Mode
Heavy traffic on freeway: Sport Mode (more engine braking than Eco, which is better for accelerating to speed then foot-off-pedal coasting)
Passing cars: Sport Mode
PCH: Sport Mode
Long, straight, desert highways with no one ahead of you and no need to stop anytime soon: Eco Mode unless you want to give your Telly some triple digit fun and hit Sport Mode on that one connector (46? or 41?) between the I-5 and Paso Robles :)
Overall: Comfort is a good catch-all mode. Telly will respond to pedal input and switch to Sport Mode for you if you floor it from any mode :)

Regarding my photos near the beach:

Yes.

Some of the photos I posted on this Sideshot Sunday thread were taken on "The Wall" above Avila Beach, the last clean junkie-free beach in California :)

I usually stop there to stretch, walk around, take photos of my Telly, obviously, on my way up and down the 101 when I visit family in NorCal or when I drive back down to Cam :)

Took a shot on a rainy day. Still looks great even in rain. However, I won't be able to give it a good carwash as we are getting a lot of rain over the next week.IMG_20210408_182706.webp

Haha, I'm anxious to wash but will wait for a good day. My biggest excuse might be fear of wife saying, "why are you washing the car when it's gonna rain again all weekend?!?"
