• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What have you done / plan to do to your Telly?

Okay, call this idea silly if you want. I'm sitting at the light the other day, alongside a foreign competitor SUV, and I noticed a distinct rumble. Sure enough, it roars off in a very impressive manner as we went green. Took me back to my high school days, driving my '68 GTO around town, complete with Kraeger blu-line slot mag wheels and dual cherry bomb glass-pack mufflers.

I do love this Telluride. I've loved the drive and the tech appointments since the day I picked it up. And.... I think its looks are bad-ass enough that it could get away with being rumbled out. Nothing loud mind you, but a nice gutteral macho sound. Anyone out there had any similar aspirations, or actually done this to their ride?
Well, wouldn't that GTO equivalent be a nice start...

Borla is one of the few that does nice things with a v6 and won’t make your neighbors want to kick you in the...

Definitely look into borla. A couple dedicated forum talks on here if you search for it. Borla has a nice axle back kit so it’s super easy to install and does exactly what your looking for. A little rumble on cold start up and when you step on it otherwise pretty quiet when just cruising. Won’t get you into any trouble for noise bylaws 😂 but will definitely make the guy next to you when you take off wonder what you have on it 😎.

What kind of paint did you use for the tail pipes. It looks great!! I'd like to try it
High temp engine paint. Gloss black and i did 1 coat of clear, I'd recommend 2-3 coats clear fir better gloss

Looks great! Does the windshield tint affect the lane assist or rain sensor for the auto wipers?
Not at all. Also verified with installer that it doesn't distort heads up display images.

Got the badge painted and installed. I must say I think it looks sharp with the color matched Wolf Grey paint.20210429_175813_HDR.webp20210429_175759.webp

Where did you get the new KIA badge? Very nice
Etsy. Overlay.

If you don’t mind me asking how much did it cost to get the windshield done? Any issues with it lately since you had it done? Thanks
$200 for the windshield. slight blue tint for a couple of days until the solution dried out. The car is much cooler inside even after it's been sitting under the sun for awhile.

Did you use a paint touch up pen? Where did you get the paint? Waiting on my Wolf Grey and had been thinking about doing this ☝. Looks awesome.
Ordered it in spray can online. Paintscratch.com . Unfortunately the dealer touchup paint doesn't match...

mine is a dark moss sx limited, i am canadian but it’s the top trim level. i really like the rest of the chrome. i may black out the top and the bottom of the grill. we will see. easy to take off if you hate it!
Did you ever black out your top and bottom of the grille? I did mine, I have a black car and it makes a huge difference on mine. The big silver lips are the biggest design blunder on the front end imo. I'm curious to see how it looks on with Moss.
