Gray Leather Interior

My SX order was placed in November with my deposit. Finally, I got notice that it will be delivered around May 28, but not with the gray interior as ordered. Instead, it will have a black interior. If I wanted to wait for an SX with AWD and a gray interior, the dealer said that would be another 5 months since gray leather is not available at this time. I am willing to take any interior color except black. The dealer has advised me that I have their oldest unfilled order. I'm beginning to wonder if they will be able to fill my order in the remaining 2021 production runs. It's hard to believe that black is the only color leather left for 2021 SX production.

I really don't want black interior but I love Wolf Gray so black interior is my only option.

I ordered November 25 2020 ( SX) Dealer said yesterday that dealer arrival should be June 7th. I ordered Dune Brown interior

I placed my SX order in November for Glacial White with Gray interior. I was just recently offered the car with Black interior for May 28 delivery, with no information on whether I would get the other features that I "ordered". I found out from a source other than my dealer that Kia doesn't actually build the car for your specific order. They make their own production schedule of certain trims and features and will try to match customer orders to what they have already planned to make based on supply of materials. If you get an exact match, it's a coincidence. I don't know if customers have access to what specific models and trims are planned for production during the next few months, but I would sure like to know. Then, I could order something that is actually going to be available.

My SX exterior color is Glacial White Pearl. I ordered Gray leather interior, but can't get it. They told me that black is the "default" color for gray. Apparently they ordered too much black and not enough gray from their leather suppliers.

"If you get an exact match, it's a coincidence." I don't believe that for a minute. I ordered GWP/Gray with absolutely no extras...no mats, nothing. I got exactly what I ordered. That's not a coincidence. You need a better source, IMO.
