If they put you at top of the list then more than likely August/September.. this is based on you being in the number one spot.. if not then I would be guessing based off their allocation number I'm seeing on failcat

Thanks for your knowledge, just a gut check here.

Dealer is saying they 'ordered' it correctly (assuming kdealer) but somehow this mess up is on Kia and the ultimate order was not configured how they entered it (assuming KFOS).

Is that even possible for KFOS to mess up a kdealer order and remove the Prestige package? or are they selling me some BS???

They also postulated the name was attached to the wrong order.....just wondering who f*'ed up here and whose feet to hold to the fire.

They are currently waiting on their "kia rep" (the person they blamed the mistake on) to get back to them on May/June builds we could be filled with.

Worst part is.....we already sold our car anticipating getting our Telly next weekend....can't be without a car for 4 months. Nice car....but this experience is the pits!

I am new to telluride forum and ordered a telluride with my dealer (refundable deposit) on April 19 2021. Could you please help with below questions (if possible) to understand the expectations on delivery? Apologies if already answered on other pages and help me route to the same.
1) I haven’t got any VIN yet as it’s a recent order so is it expected to be taken up as 2022 model now? I ordered SX Ebony black with prestige dune brown - dealer Kia Chesterfield, MO
2) Any rough/tentative expectation of when this telluride may be delivered?
3) I read “Failcat” portal in some messages here - what is it exactly meant to help with?

I see this forum has been very helpful to people anxiously waiting for their tellurides so any feedback you can help me with is highly appreciated.

Top right corner has the search bar.. search "ordering" and select Title only search.. A wealth of information is here on the forum.
Your order will be a 2022.
You will get a Vin number once it is built so that is months away.
Time table is determine by a ton of factors, primarily how many allocated Tellurides of the trim you ordered are assigned to your store monthly.
How many people are infront of you with an order.

Failcat is a system developed by people on this forum to help see when Tellurides are built and Vin is generated.
you can see how many Tellurides the Stores have had in the last couple years to determine if you are ordering from a high volume store.

Currently looks like Failcat is working for some and not for others and is not updating. So it may no longer be a viable tool moving forward if "The mothership" is not wanting this information to be public anymore.
