• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m new here and I’ve seen some posts with folks post the year, model and when they took possession. I want to fit in so when is it appropriate to do this?

ASAP 😂. Go to your account and go to signature and then you can put all the info you want under it. Year make model delivery accessories etc. We will want to see pics of your telluride so prepare to post those too. Lots of threads to post them under and since it’s Saturday.......

Yesterday.

Check out my signature and you kinda already know how my experience on the long wait list to order went :)

Remember, nothing is actually ordered until KFOS picks up your order and makes it real.

Putting down a deposit just reserves your place in line for the dealership to eventually order your build. Production capacity limits the number of Telly allocations for each dealership each month, especially for AWD builds.

Those will go to customers ahead of you in line.

When you get to the front of the line, a good salesperson or sales manager will give you a phone call and tell you, “You’re next! Next allocation for a AWD SX P/T goes to you !!”, then start checking failcat and see when Kia posts your window sticker online.

On the sticker you’ll see your VIN, an itemized list of what you’re getting in your build + prices, etc.

If any factory-installed options didn’t get into KFOS at time of order, maybe they didn’t have those options/accessories in stock just then.

When I saw that my sticker only gave me OEM Carpeted Floor Mats, I drove immediately to the dealership and Lewis helped us order parts from the Hilltop Ford/Kia Parts department:

Ordered:

#1 OEM All Weather Floor Mats (the best floor mats, at least for active drivers who Sport Mode Saturday every day)

#2 OEM Carpeted Cargo Mat with Seat Back Protection (perfect edge-to-edge fit, fully rubberized bottom layer for full protection, attaches securely with velcro)

#3 OEM Cargo Cover (if you have the 3rd row down, this keeps the thieving “mostly peaceful” scumbags from seeing the goodies you have in your car)

#4 OEM Wheel Locks (depends on where you live, work, visit, shop and otherwise park your Telly. If you’re luckily enough to be far away from large populations of thieving scumbags that check every car for open doors and unsecured wheels, this probably isn’t necessary)

Can’t wait to see your Telluride Forum signature.

Include some specs:
Year
AWD or FWD
Trim level
Prestige? Towing? both = P/T
Deposit date?
Date your sticker gets published by Kia
VIN date?
ETA info?
Delivery to dealership date?
Date you picked-up your Telly.

Welcome to the forum. I see you added your information to the signature. I assume you bought this off the lot since the purchase and pickup date are identical? Enjoy the ride!
