I just picked up a new 2021 Telluride s. When using the connector cable with my Android G7 thin Q, the GPS quit working and goes blank on the vehicle screen. Sometimes it works for 10 minutes other times 20. I have to unplug the cord and then plug it back in again. What's up with this?

Gps time out with android lg G7thinq. I have to unplug and replug the connector cable in order to continue the GPS function

Maybe your android auto is freezing when a certain background app runs or you are receiving some notification. Can try downloading the map on google maps and go offline during your next trip to test the theory.
