  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just joined since I am looking into the Telluride. Thinking of the EX trim with AWD. Would love to hear what people think are good options to include

At this point the only option I would do is a tow package. Also wondering about the 2nd row bench vs. captains seats. How easy is it to move the seats to get to the back. My son, daughter-in-law and 3 kids (1, 3, 41/2) are moving back to our area and we think we will driving the whole family a lot.

Exciting! I originally ordered an EX AWD without a lot of options and really wanted the bench in second row. However, you don’t get the good LED headlights until you upgrade to the premium package. Visibility at night is key for me so canceled the order and got an EX AWD with premium and nightfall packages. Mine also has the tow package. Self leveling is very nice and comes with the harness. You will lose the bench seat adding premium package but at least you will have great visibility at night. The other headlights are rated as poor with IIHS but the LED headlights make it a top safety pick. Please research the safety. You can put two car seats in the back (three would be tight). Easy to access third row and it’s roomy. Captains chairs would hold car seat fine. I really like the captains chairs more than I thought I would. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Headlights are easy to swap out for LEDs. I do like the amber DRLs better but that's just aesthetics. I think either setup will work well. When test driving the captains, I felt it was easier to get into the back by putting the seat forward than it was trying to squeeze between the bench seats I imagine it would be even harder with car seats in place.
