Is there a way to tell from Telly Stats of Failcat if a Telly is special ordered or if it might be available? Don’t want to spend too many BTUs calling a dealership if the one I see in there that looks promising might be available. Also, are the dates in these tools ship dates, stock dates, etc? I.e. when could one expect them to reach the dealer?

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Can you tell if a Telly is spoken for from Telly Stats or Failcat if a car is spoken for?

Thanks. Does anyone know if it is generally created at the beginning of the manufacturing process, towards the end, or somewhere in between?

The Vin is created at beginning of build process.
