• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm picking up my SXP next week. Will be getting ceramic tint installed on all windows except the windshield. Going to get as dark as legally possible. Trying to decide whether to do the sunroofs. Has anyone done this? If so, what percentage did you get? I'm looking to get the UV protection and heat rejection but don't want to completely block out the sunlight nor do I want to be blinded by it either. Does tinting them increase the likelihood of the sunroof shattering due to changing the heat load properties of the glass? I read the thread on the sunroofs that just exploded while driving so I'm a little afraid of that even though it's highly unlikely to happen since I'll have my daughter riding in the backseat most of the time.

Will be picking up Tuxmats when they come back in stock. Trying to decide whether to get the carpeted cargo mat with seat back protection or pay the extra for the cargo mat from Canada. Any other interior accessories you would recommend like a console organizer or some sort of storage between the 2nd row captain's seats? The 3rd row will be down almost all the time. Will not be getting PPF or ceramic coating at this time.

Great idea on the tint on sunroof. I like to have light come in I but it’s always too hot.

Here is some info from my previous Tint Discussions. Good luck on your decision!

the sunroof is originally made of athermal glass, so that 98% of the ultraviolet is absorbed without tinting. Tinting the film, on the contrary, makes the sunroof stronger and protects from fragments if it bursts.

Thanks. That looks great. I'll definitely be reading through that whole thread.

That solves my question on whether to do it or not. Now I need to figure out what percentage would be best.
