  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Are there any dealers in So Cal these days going anywhere near MSRP?

I had a great experience at Kia of Carson. Paid $75 over MSRP only for my EX. 40k plus taxes and license fees. Came out to around 43,000 or so. They wanted a few thousand over MRSP. I did my homework and stick to what you are willing to pay. I think the main reason is showing up to the dealer and negotiating they will sell at MSRP or close to it. If not walk out the door and take your business elsewhere.

That sounds like a good deal for an EX. We got 1.5k markup on kia irvine for awd lx... so 37k then tax etc becomes 40k. We talked to the internet sales person, it was initially 3k markup but we negotiated it down.

Annie Cuevas, very easy to talk to. She has been very transparent to us with the numbers from the start. The finance people on the other hand are ok as far as FI goes, they will try to sell you overprice warranties/maintenance etc.. {do try showing Kia of Mencie same warranty for half the price, maybe they will match it if you want extended warranty) but keep pushing that you don't want it. So far we had a good experience with the dealership as a whole.
